we've got a new fridge! we've got a new fridge!! =D
laura and i were so excited the whole morning.. waiting for the new fridge to arrive.. =D
check it out! the freezer has a LIGHT in it!! how cool is that.. hahaha! and the light is so nice somemore lor.. so BIG.. hahaha.. and they have ice trays that you can tip over so that the ice cubs fall into the tray below!! woohoo!!
ok fine, there are much nicer fridges around but as compared to our old one.. this one is like whoaaaaa.. hahaha =D
and the pig is back up on the fridge! =D i love the pig.. =D
and my poor cute bedroom slippers.. one fluffy ball came off and i couldn't find it anywhere in my room.. then today i found it in the living room.. it looks so lonely alone.. =( i tried stuffing it back but it always come out in the end..
and look at brotherbear! he has a earring.. hahaha.. so cute =D

i'm so happy 'cos i've been looking for pjyama pants since forever.. and i finally bought a pair today!! hee.. =D it's felix the cat! hahaha.. and it was on sale so it was $20 for both the blouse and pants! originally was $29.99.. yay so happyyyyyyyyy!! i won't be cold in winter anymore! hee =D
and.. look what hazel and i found!! a ONE kg packet of m&m-s!!! hahahahah! madness.. but korkor, i didn't buy! hahahah! but instead i bought a 250g of m&ms and malteases.. hahahahhahaha! =D
i'm so happy today 'cos finished a 3 hour paper.. and then went to shop with hazel and chai at chadstone.. i haven't been out to see the world for so long lah!! feels really good.. =D =D =D lalalaaaaaa =D

i've procrastinated my birthday-blogpost for too long! so here it is.. =D
on friday i met up with the scfour people in the city.. =D chai, hazel and i met inge, kahyi, claire and charles at Mee Too restaurant in melbourne central for dinner.. =D
had fettucinni with salmon.. =D then they had 'live music' which was actually this rather old guy playing the accordian.. i don't know how to spell that.. hahaha! and he was quite funny 'cos he could speak some mandarin too.. and he was going to people's tables to sing to them.. hahaha! then they made him come to over table and sing happy birthday to me!! hahahah! and they surprised me with a cake from brunetti's too! =D yummy chocolate soflee (mer, i forgot how to spell again.. hahaha!) cake.. =D

i love it to bits.. =D but i think flower is sunburnt leh.. 'cos the other time the sun was too hot but i still put her in the sun 'cos i wanted her to get some sunlight.. hahaha oops.. =D flower, be strong!! live on!! hahahah =D jiejie, flower reminds me of beauty and the beast.. which reminds me of you.. hahahaha! =D

then after that we went to crown casino! hahaha! =D serene, remember last time we just walked one round? eh? i think edward put in like ten cents for the jackpot right? hahahah! this time we were like watching the Casino War game.. really a matter of chance lor.. hahaha! then kahyi played.. think he bet quite alot.. hahaha! then i was watching the blackjack game too.. =D was really tempted to play casino war.. but i thought.. i should be a good girl.. hahaha! maybe next time.. hahahah! =D
then after a while hazel, inge and i went to watch the roulette game.. but then we got distracted by the fire flames that went off from the pillars surrounding the exterior of the whole casino.. serene remember? =D and we took pictures! hahahaha.. it was funny 'cos we were taking the pictures by ourselves.. and i think maybe we looked quite awkward, so this young aussie guy came over and offered to take the picture for us.. hahaha! but we declined.. hahaha! =D

then after that i finally got to meet paul!!!! hahahahah! finally.. 'cos he drove from sydney to melbourne for holiday.. and then we kept wanting to meet up but then he always had change of plans.. so i finally met him.. too bad i couldn't sit down and talk with him 'cos chai and hazel had to go back 'cos they were flying off to sydney the next day.. and i actually made them wait for me for an hour.. hee hee.. sorry!! but thank you!! =D
and.. paul gave me a birthday present too!! i was really surprised.. 'cos i didn't expect it at all.. hahaha! it was a big eeyore stuffed toy.. =D and it was very funny 'cos when he took out the eeyore from his bag, his friend pointed out that now the bag is empty.. hahaha! eeyore was the only thing in his bag lah.. hahaha! so funny.. but it was reallly really nice of him to get me a present.. and eeyore travelled so so so many miles!! hahahah! from sydney to melbourne.. and melbourne to great ocean road and back!! hahahaha! =D eeyore is more well-travelled than me.. hahahaha! =D
then when we came back from the casino, look what i saw at the corner of my desk!!
i was really surprised! hahaha and puzzled.. hahahha! then i opened the flowery book and it was actually from hazel and chai!! i really wonder how did they manage to sneak into my room.. hahaha! and when?? hahahaha! hmmmm.. really leh.. hahahahah! i should ask hazel.. they gave me mr. cool-joe snoopy, a mugger mug (!!!), and pen! =D thank you hazel and chai! =D thank you for organising the dinner too! and thank you inge for making the reservation and getting the cakey!!! =D =D
then the next day, saturday, i woke up late 'cos slept very late.. and was suppose to study but in the end also hardly did anything.. kept sleeping.. hahahah!
then on saturday night.. i was trying to read my notes again.. and i was like counting down to my own birthday.. i was thinking, hmmm.. will hanting and charmaine come and surprise me at 12 midnight.. and will serene call me? but then.. don't have leh!! hahahah!
so at 12 midnight.. i was still staring at my notes on the knee.. i was thinking, how sad.. hahahaha!
then.... i heard a knock on my house door!! hahaha! then i ran to open it.. and it was hanthing, charmaine and tae!! hahahha! they had cakes and were singing the birthday song.. i was so paiseh.. hahaha! 'cos i scared we were too noisy for my housemates.. 'cos they were asleep already (they sleep really early by the way.. hahaha)
hanting baked a caramel mudcake for me.. and charmaine baked apple crumble! =D really very happy.. =D
then we just sat in the kitchen and talked about don't know what also.. hahahaha! then we were planning what to do on sunday.. then we thought of cooking lunch/dinner.. so we wrote down our menu.. spent a really long time.. then hanting thought, hey! why don't we have steamboat!! then we were all like yes!! hahahha! then we wrote down a list of ingredients to get for our steamboat.. then.. hanting said, hey!! there's this really nice hotpot place in glen waverley!! hahahahah! so in the end we decided to go there for lunch instead.. hahahah! we talked until 3am lah.. hahahah!

we were all trying to figure out what "patootie" was.. even my housemates didn't know.. and kaiwen didn't know either.. we all thought that maybe it was just a word that rhymed with 'cutie'.. hahahah =D then just now i went to check.. it's actually a slang which means "sweetheart"! =D awwww.. so sweet.. hee.. =D and it was really funny 'cos john thought maybe there was some adult connotation to it.. hahaha
then the next morning we all struggled to get out of bed for church.. hahaha!
oh ya!! when i woke up and opened my room door, look what i saw!!!!! =D =D

ya then michael (this taiwanese guy) gave me and hanting a lift to church 'cos chai was in sydney.. then after church we went to eat the hotpot!! yum yum!!! hee hee =D
it was quite good! i don't mind going back there again.. =D
oh! and i finally tried the Ma La soup.. =D but we only had the "xiao la" one.. the least spicy one.. hahaha! 'cos michael cannot really take chilli. but it was still good! i thought it was just right.. if it was spicier maybe i also cannot take it.. hahahah =D

then after that we went to safeway to get some flour, vanilia essence and cream cheese for my oreo cheesecake that i've been wanting to make!! hee =D 'cos for my 20th birthday pahmie and weili baked one for me that was REALLY delicious!! =D
then we went home and hanting, charmaine and i started to bake!! hee =D thanks to john and laura for all the baking equipment like the electronic mixer and grinder etc.. =D so good to have housemates who love and can cook. hee =D
2 "accidents" happened.. hahahah! one was that i nearly made a fork fly into our eyes.. hahahah! 'cos i was trying to stir the mixture when the machine was on.. and it accidentally got caught in the metal spike.. and it flew out.. hahaha! thank God that no one was hurt. hahahah! oops. hahahaha! but later one of the spikes of the fork was bent. hahaha! then the other was that i told hanting to put in 2 TABLEspoons of vanilia essence.. but it was suppose to be 2 TEAspoons!! hahahah! oops. hahahahah!
but we managed.. and here's the cake before baking..
then we went to the pavillion and used the oven there 'cos john says that it's better than ours at home.. then we waited.. and yay! it was finally done after 1 hour plus.. =D but it didn't look like the one that pahmie and weili baked at all.. hahaha! it was like brownish on top.. hahaha..
then hanting, shuto and i decided to try it warm.. and it was REALLY GOOD. hahahah! we wanted to leave it as a warm cake.. but decided to just follow the recipe and put it in the fridge.
then after another 2-3 hours.. it was done! =D we tried the cold version.. was good for the first few bites.. then later.. hmm.. i think there was too much flour? don't need lah.. just that the consistency was sort of different from other cheesecakes.. same receipe, but different product. hahahaha! but it was really still not bad.. nori said it was oiishi and he took a second slice.. so did shuto. hahahah! but i think they were just being polite.. hahahah but it's really not bad lah.. =D

and... i was very surprised when i got a package from singapore around 2 weeks ago.. it turned out to be from minghui!!! =D =D she was so sweet.. she actually sent me 2 of pastor's cds for my birthday!! =D i was really very surprised 'cos i didn't expect it at all... =D and the cds really really really came at the right time.. =D one night i was feeling sad and depressed.. then i decided to take a walk outside and listen to pastor's cd.. then it was too cold 'cos i was wearing shorts.. so i went to the pavillion instead and just sat on the couch and listened to the word.. =D really good stuff.. =D i miss pastor's preaching so much! good, solid, shiok preaching. =D thank you minghui!!!!!!!!!!!! =D
and john and laura got me this really really nice figurine kind of thing! it's like a hand-craved figurine of an angel.. it's like part of a whole series.. they have quite a few too! =D
it's like so serene and peaceful.. =D they are really really such nice people.. =D

yup so that was it.. =D oh yaaaaa.. and serene did call in the end at around 11pm plus.. hahahah! thank you girl!! =D
